PET MARFA FOOD PANTRY
Welcome to the Pet Marfa Food Pantry. Operated by One Tail at a Time – West Texas, this program provides supplemental pet food to help families in our community care for their pets.
We know these are not easy economic times, especially in rural communities where stretching a budget is already part of daily life. This pantry is designed to provide temporary support, not replace a pet’s full monthly food supply. Our goal is to share what we have with as many pets and families as possible. Inventory will vary month to month, and we appreciate your help in making this resource available to our community. Pets are family, and caring for them supports the people who love them too!

Not at this time. We believe honesty is the best policy. If you need support, we want to help. Please take what you need and leave enough for your neighbors so we can serve as many pets as possible.

Maybe. Tell us more about the situation and we’ll see what we can do. Our goal is to support pets who may otherwise go without.

It depends. We generally distribute based on the number, size, age, and needs of the pets in the home, as well as available inventory. A senior Chihuahua and a nursing cat with kittens have very different needs. Location is a challenge too - if you live farther away, we may be able to send more. Tell us about your pets and we’ll work together to determine a reasonable amount.

We typically restock about once per month, but timing and inventory may vary. We encourage visitors to take a reasonable amount of food to help stretch their budget until the next restock, while leaving enough to share with other pets and families in our community.

Unfortunately, no. We distribute what is donated and available. Inventory will change month to month, and we cannot guarantee specific brands, formulas, or varieties.

Yes! Community support helps this pantry continue serving pets across our region. Donations of unopened pet food are welcome during Pet Marfa business hours.
