About this dog: Scuttle takes time to warm up to people, though he’ll take a treat from just about anyone. On walks he chooses to avoid strangers and unfamiliar dogs. Scuttle is in foster with five dogs about his size (20 lbs) and three cats. He curls up with both dogs and cats to nap, and is snuggly with his human. He sleeps with his foster mom and one other dog. Scuttle is a young, playful dog in a home with seniors and likes energetic play but respects his foster dog elders well. He enjoys going for walks especially when accompanied by one of his dog buddies. Scuttle is house trained and hasn’t had any accidents. He eats well and doesn’t resource guard. He learned to play with toys and loves chew toys. As he has gotten more comfortable, he has started to give kisses for his foster mom. He loves to go for rides and will load up as soon as the car door opens. He regularly accompanies on errands and behaves well in stores, though still hesitant with strangers and strange dogs. Scuttle’s ideal home has a dog buddy, a calm and gentle homebody for a guardian, and a fenced yard for fetch and zoomies!
