About this dog: Locus is a playful, active, and social puppy who yearns to explore and learn, and would like to be part of a forever home and family, preferably with at least one other dog sibling who is down for rowdy play. He loves having a routine with activities that let him burn his puppy energy. Locus is super sociable with other dogs and people. His favorite hobbies are playing fetch, dog play, and chewing on toys. He’s gone on a few car trips and is a great passenger. He likes longer walks where he can explore the sights and sounds of his surroundings and is learning to be great on a leash. With the right treats, he knows basic commands like sit, stop, let’s go, and come and is definitely a smart pup and an eager learner. Locus is kennel trained and is getting great with his house training (he taps on his play pen when he needs to go). Locus came to OTAT-WTX from the Pecos Animal Shelter.

Foster Testimonial: “Locus is dog that started his life journey from a rough patch but I expect great things from him, as a companion and a loving family member. He is a playful pup who warms up to you quickly and is looking to be loved. A consistent, active routine will allow Locus to grow alongside his new family and friends.”
