About this dog: Biscuit is a happy dingus who loves other dogs, has zero interest in resident cats, and is proving to be a wonderful house dog. He has a fair amount of energy in the morning but tires easily, especially in the heat. After a good morning walk, he is content to snooze the rest of the day. He is housetrained, great on leash, and very comfortable in his giant kennel, where he takes his meals, sleeps overnight, and sometimes retires for an afternoon siesta. He loves water, playing tug, and fetching anything that can be thrown! On hot afternoons, he takes a regular soak in his kiddie pool. Biscuit’s ideal home is with a resident dog(s) who loves to play and isn’t intimidated by his size or enthusiasm, and where he is allowed to enjoy all the comforts of home. Biscuit is good in the car and loves going on adventures. Biscuit came to OTAT-WTX from the Pecos Animal Shelter, where he was brought to be euthanized after being picked up as a stray dog in Orla, Texas.
Foster Testimonial: “While in foster, it has been awesome to watch Biscuit learn how to be a dog. In many ways it is like he is growing more and more puppy-like every day, both in his love of play and his evaporating worries about whatever uncertainty existed in his life before.”
